Rose Hilton is an Artist who was based in Cornwall from 1965. Her painting has a magic , mystical quality that draws you in. Rose Hilton was one of the last survivor from the glory days of modern art in Cornwall. Grounded in her experiences of the Cornish landscape, her close study of the human figure, and her love for Matisse and Bonnard, she steadily built a reputation as a major St Ives School artist.
